So, to celebrate our 30th year of publishing the Best of Home & House Hunting, we wanted to take a look at some of the most beautiful homes in the country. So we asked a bunch of real estate experts to rank the most beautiful home in America. The top spot was awarded to the 722,000-square-foot, 3-bedroom, 3-bath townhome in San Antonio’s Pecan Grove neighborhood.
That’s the spot where former President Jimmy Carter lived in the 1970s. We all know there will be a price to pay for owning a home on the $1 million dollar club. We all also know the secret to making your house sit well next to others in a row. That’s where the “tourist” comes in.
I saw this on Pinterest: “How to Paint a House While Traveling.” So what better way to look your house up on a map than to paint it a specific color? It doesn’t have to be the best color. It can be a neutral that still looks good when you’re sitting around the house. You can paint it with a very specific color that you like. It can even be a color that you’ve found on the internet somewhere and it works for you.
Here is a helpful idea: you can paint your house using an inexpensive spray paint. If you go to your local home improvement store you can easily get some cheap spray paint. It will last longer than most colors because it is less expensive to use. I used it all the time when I was renovating my house and it worked fantastically, but I never thought to check to see if it was still available. I just found it online in a store for about $5.99.
I’ve never tried it myself, but I’ve heard of people using it. It’s pretty easy to do and I would imagine it would be great as a home decorating idea.
The spray paint thing is a good way to get your home (and your house) ready for paint. A friend said she used to have a friend who used to paint their house when she was a kid. They would spray the house all the time and he would always be there to help paint. So just spray the house and tell your friend it’s ready.

We’ve tried a couple of paint companies, but they all seem to want a lot of deposit and then want us to have to wait to get approval for some of the painting.
