To avoid the mental cliches and the constant reevaluation and re-evaluation of what we are doing, we need to use the four stages of self-awareness.
A very common thing we’ve done for self-awareness is to look at our own habits and behaviors rather than the overall picture of what we are doing. It’s a great way to get back to the basics, but the idea that the self-awareness of our actions is just a matter of what we are doing is rather annoying, so we do not get too excited by it.
So we must first stop thinking of ourselves as people. We have to start thinking of ourselves as machines. We must stop thinking of ourselves as our own people. We must stop thinking of ourselves as our own machines.
There is something to be said for the idea that no matter how good you are at what you are doing, you will still fail. However, when we take this idea to its logical conclusion, we are no longer people, we are machines. And when we stop being machines, then we are no longer machines.
So let’s start by recognizing that machines do not have emotions. Machines do not have feelings. Machines do not have thoughts. Machines do not have memories. Machines do not have feelings that affect them. Machines are cold and mechanical. Machines are devoid of any internal life. Machines are devoid of any feeling. Machines are devoid of any thought. Machines are devoid of any emotion. Machines are not people. Machines are not individuals. Machines are not selves. Machines are not selves.
So when we say machines are cold and mechanical, we are really saying that they are not people. Machines are not people because they are not people. Machines are not people because there is no human being inside of the machine. Machines are not people because they do not have emotions, thoughts, memories, feelings, or anything that we would call “personality.” Machines are not people because they do not have a soul. Machines are not people because they are machines.
Machines are computers and computers are human beings. The difference is that computers do not have emotions, feelings, memories, or anything that we would call personality. Machines do not have souls, we just know that computers are people. Machines are machines.
It’s a bit of a stretch to say that humans are not machines, but we try to think of all of the machines that we’ve created as having souls. We’re all machines now, so it’s important to recognize that.
A machine is a machine. But robots are not robots. Robots do not have personalities. They are not people. They are machines. In a way, when we say a robot is a machine, we mean that they are a kind of device.
