This post got me thinking about running. I was always into running until I had kids. Maybe it was the lack of an active running buddy to keep me motivated. Or maybe its the fact that I was a lazy fuck. Either way, I was always happy when I ran. I loved the look of a fresh, crisp, and shiny new pair of running shoes. When I started going to the gym, I started to really enjoy the sounds of the machines running over my tired body.
I’ve always been a fan of running in the summer, but I guess I just didn’t realize it was the sound of my heart beating. Of course, I don’t know what it would have been like to run in the winter (especially when the temperatures were below zero!), but I’d definitely love to run in the summer. And I’m not just saying that because I have kids at home, either.
